Grant A. Richards

Born and raised in Outlook, Saskatchewan, Grant primarily practices general and commercial litigation, security realizations, foreclosures, and real estate.

Grant has successfully represented clients before all levels of Saskatchewan Court and is one of the legal community’s preeminent litigators. Grant has been recognized for his exceptional abilities and is rated by his peers as having a very high legal ability and high ethical standards, receiving a “BV Peer Review” Rating by Martindale-Hubbell.

Grant has acted as a presenter with Saskatchewan Legal Education Society of Saskatchewan Inc., (SKLESI), Public Legal Education Society of Saskatchewan (PLEA), and has served as an instructor and lecturer at the Saskatchewan CPLED Bar Admission Course in the area of Foreclosure Law. In addition, Grant is a former lecturer for the Institute of Canadian Bankers in Consumer and Commercial Banking law.

Grant is a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan and the Canadian Bar Association. He is former Chair of the Real Property Section of the Saskatchewan Branch of the Canadian Bar Association and is actively involved as a mentor to young lawyers in the legal profession.

In addition to his professional affiliations, Grant is an avid sportsman having played as a goaltender on the gold medal winning hockey team at the 2005 World Masters’ Games.

He also enjoys a broad range of outdoor activities including hunting and fishing throughout North America.

Grant proudly supports the Saskatoon Blades Hockey Club and the University of Saskatchewan Husky Football program and is a member of Riverside Golf and Country Club. He is the father of two children, has two grandchildren and resides in Saskatoon with his wife Wendy.
