Melissa practises exclusively in family law, helping clients navigate divorce and separation, parenting arrangements, child and spousal support, division of family property, cohabitation and prenuptial agreements, and adoption. She regularly appears before the Court of King’s Bench and has also appeared before the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Melissa moved to Kelowna before eventually settling in Saskatoon. She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law in 2020, where she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and received the Mary Y. Carter Scholarship in Family Law. She was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2021.

Melissa currently sits on the board of the Saskatoon Bar Association and is a member of the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers’ Association and the Canadian Bar Association. She volunteers with the Family Law Information Clinic, which provides free legal information to individuals at libraries across Saskatoon.

Outside of the office, Melissa can usually be found with a book in hand, planning her next trip, or walking her rescue dog.
