Chelsea grew up in Kamsack, Saskatchewan and has been living in Saskatoon since 2006.
During law school, Chelsea volunteered with CLASSIC in their Legal Advice Clinic and with the Systemic Initiatives Program. She articled with Elke Churchman at Churchman & Co. Law Office and then practiced with Edge Family Law until coming to Cuelenaere LLP in December of 2024. Chelsea regularly appears in the Court of King’s Bench, and has also appeared before the Court of Appeal.
Chelsea is a member of the Saskatoon Bar Association, the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers’ Association, and the Canadian Bar Association.
Chelsea has volunteered with various organizations throughout the years, including The Terry Fox Run, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The Canadian Diabetes Association, The Saskatoon Sexual Assault and Information Centre, Martensville Youth Connection, and Possibilities Recovery Center.
In 2023 and 2024, Chelsea was the Risk Manager and Fundraising Coordinator for CISV’s Saskatoon Chapter. She currently sits as President of the German Language School Board.
Prior to attending law school, Chelsea worked as an Intervenor for the Canadian Deaf Blind Association, as a program facilitator at BridgePoint Centre for Eating Disorders, and as a Disability Support Worker at McCallum House.
