Matt was born and raised in Saskatoon and completed his undergraduate degree at USask before heading off to the island for law school. He returned to Saskatoon for articling in 2023 and was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 2024.

Matt maintains a general practice with a focus on family law and civil litigation. He has numerous appearances before the Court of King’s Bench and is well-versed in navigating alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time unplugged in the backcountry, hiking and canoeing. He is also a pianist with a love for jazz, so you may spot him around town playing keys at Winterruption or Jazzfest.
